Our Family Vacation

Although we had our share of sickness and injuries during our vacation this year, we were finally able to venture out and get a few family pictures on the beach.  We are so blessed to have such an incredible family!  Conner and Talen love their cousins and aunts and uncles so much!  And during our nightly goodnight prayers, they usually give thanks for quite a few of them; sometimes it takes quite a LONG time to get through everybody:)

My poor, poor blog! I'm so sorry for neglecting you this summer....my how the time has flown by! I must say I'm not ready for it to be over, especially since we've had so much rain. But anyway, here are a few....

One of my favorite lil' clients! She sure knows how to "work it baby"!! BTW, I love her hat(I think her mom made it).

My lil' bro wanted a few more senior pictures with his guitar. His Mom was not too happy about the straw hat with the HUGE hole in it, but it fits him. That's what I love most about Senior pictures.....the opportunity to showcase individuality and personality!




I attended an incredible workshop in St. Louis in June. Here are some of the Senior and Child models that were gracious enough to come out on Father's Day. They were all so beautiful and very good sports (it was almost 100 degrees the day we shot the kids!)













I got to go to Eureka for a bachlorette party for this sweet, beautiful bride! We couldn't help squeezing in a mini photo session before the ghost hunt and party activities.....can anybody say dancin? Well, let me tell you, this dance instructor really knows her stuff!

Baby on Board

Little Miss B reminds me so much of her mommy--pretty and sweet, but has enough tomboy to do anything the boys can do, even better!


This beautiful mommy holds a special place in my heart! From the first day of kindergarten, to countless sleepovers and "Skinny Bones Jones", I will always cherish Lori's wonderful friendship and love. Lori and her hubby have such an incredible bond!!! So beautiful!

Discovery

These two sweethearts were such a joy! She defines grace and beauty and he is such a doll with his adorable red curly hair. And they truly are best friends!

Catchin' Up

We have a ton of family in this weekend for my brother's graduation, so I am crazy busy!! But I wanted to post a few from this past week. The first are of Kaleb, the newest addition to our family. He is so beautiful and we love him already! Conner and Talen can't wait to teach him how to crawl!

And this gorgeous little man should be a child model. I was just dreaming I was taking pictures for a Ralph Lauren catalog ;-) Precious,just precious!!

Our Family Pet

This is Neo (named after the Matrix). He really has had 9 lives (more like 15). I am soooooo not a cat person (sorry all you cat lovers out there!!). And neither is my hubby, but Neo is not just any cat--he is the one and only NEO! We have shared many stories about this cat with our family and friends and we have laughed and cried (and laughed so hard we cried). Lennie asked me this morning to take some snapshots with Neo and the boys.

Yes, He really is this big!

Lennie rescued Neo as a kitten when he was being used as a basketball.

He has strong dislikes for one certain ex-roomate of Lennie's and sprayed this roomate's personal belongings every chance he got (Sorry, Wes!). Back in the old days (when he could fit), he really liked to catch rides in the car hoods of all of Lennie's buddies. He holds the world record for capturing the most frogs and field mice.
Neo went missing for 3 months from our house in Riverview, and showed up on the back door step of Wholesale Tire. No one would really have believed it was him, but his unmistakable "MEEEOOOWWW" and a belly sagging all the way to the ground from losing so much weight gave him away!He has watched "The Matrix" more than any other cat, EVER!
And finally, he is the World's Most Eligible Bachelor!
