A Warm Day in Winter

I realize that every winter season seems long, but this one seems to be lasting FOREVER! Maybe its because I now have two very restless and energetic boys who love playing outside. We were so excited about the warm weather and this makes us yearn for spring even more, but hey take what you can get, right?

I can't believe Conner will be playing T-Ball and Soccer next year!
Talen, on the other hand, is still interested in rolling in the grass and catching bugs (and looking kinda cute!)

Best buddies!

Walls Family Portraits

I met this way cool family downtown for an urban session. It was FREEZING!! But they were such troopers and you would never guess the weather from their portraits. Oh, and they even brought their very loved (and well behaved) doggie, Gus.

When it came time for some individual shots, K was sooooo ready to strike a pose. I think she has a future in performing arts. Her beauty and awesome personality came out in every picture!

P was the coldest of anybody and ready for pancakes and hot chocolate; even at that I got a little smile--what a handsome little guy!

Do ya think they love each other?

What a gorgeous Mama!
Thank you so much Walls family for your energy, enthusiasm and support!

McSpadden Christmas

I had the honor of shooting the McSpadden brothers' Christmas portraits this week. They were quite a bundle of energy and kept me SPRINTING! :). And having two boys who fight all the time, I was quite suprised how well these two got along.

I love the look on little L's face!

I wanted to get the boys by the tree--look but don't touch. Yes, we did end up with a broken ornament (sorry MO!).

These two cuties could be little Gap models!

Merry Christmas McSpaddens and Pulleys! We love you and thank you for being angels!

Christmas Portraits

I was so excited when little A's mom called me to shoot her Christmas portraits urbanstyle. Main Street was decked out in Christmas decor, and even though most of the time A would not actually look at the camera, I feel like we really captured the Christmas mood and spirit through a 3 year old's eyes.

These two are my favorites of the day. And I have a good feeling I will use the storefront picture to promote next year's Christmas portraits.

Candler Family Portraits

My brand new sis-n-law's family wanted family portraits over the Thanksgiving holiday when everybody was in town. Most of the fall leaves were already gone but the reflections on the lake made for some very scenic and beautiful pictures!

They have four beautiful and sweet grandchildren (and one on the way) who you can tell are the apples of their eyes!

Branson Wedding

Mike and Amy's wedding was held at the Branson Treetop Chapel. The ceremony was intimate, the views breathtaking, and the bride--GORGEOUS! Everyone had such an awesome time. Thanks for a great weekend, Mr. and Mrs. Foree--here's your sneek peek:

Fall Family Pictures 2

It really couldn't have been a sweeter weekend. I got to shoot another one of my favorite people and her family at Quarry Park in Rosie. Everything was perfect--the weather, the views and the family!!

These two little girls remind me so much of my sister and I when we were their age. I was the primper and poser, and my sister was the mischievous little adventurer. I kept getting crazy deja vu, but I think the differences in their personalities made for some awesome pics!
